Terms and conditions

The agreement between you and us. Kept short, in plain language, and with no surprises at the back.

Last updated on 14 October 2026.

This is an English translation, provided so you can read the agreement in your own language. The Dutch version is the binding text: where the two differ, the Dutch text applies.

In short

  • We make variants of your video and prepare them as trial reels. You release them, or you switch on automatic publishing.
  • Your material stays yours. You only give us the right to edit it and to publish it on your behalf.
  • We promise the work, not the result. Followers and reach are not a commitment.
  • Paid monthly in advance, cancellable per calendar month. No annual contract, no three month notice period.
  • Liability is limited to what you paid over the last three months.

This summary does not replace the text below. Where they differ, the text below applies.

1Who we are and what these terms cover

Trial Reels is a service of Langemann (sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands), Amstelvlietstraat 549, 1096 GG Amsterdam, Chamber of Commerce 73582743, VAT NL002350498B30. In these terms “we” means Langemann and “you” means the party taking the service.

These terms apply to everything we do for you. Where we agree something different, it is put in writing in the order confirmation and that goes before this text. Your own purchasing conditions do not apply, unless we have accepted them explicitly.

The service is meant for businesses and self employed people. If you are a consumer, this product is not for you, and any provision that would limit your statutory rights does not apply.

2What the service does

  • You supply video, by uploading it or by putting it in a shared Drive folder.
  • We make variants of it. The length always stays that of the original, nothing is ever cut out.
  • Every variant gets a caption and a first comment, and is prepared in the app.
  • You release it, or you switch on automatic publishing and it goes according to the schedule.
  • After publication we collect the numbers and show you what it did.

A trial reel is a feature of Instagram itself: the reel is shown to people who do not follow you yet. We do not decide who those are or how many there will be; Meta does.

3What we do and do not promise

We promise the work: that variants get made, that they are ready, that what you release gets published, and that you see honest numbers about what it did.

We promise no result. No follower count, no reach, no views, no revenue. What a reel does is up to Meta, and that cannot be predicted. Anyone who promises you otherwise knows something Meta itself does not. What comes out on your account is in the app, however it turns out.

Numbers in the app come from Meta and are a rendering of what Meta gives back to us. Meta renames and recalculates its statistics from time to time, with retroactive effect; we follow those changes but we do not warrant the accuracy of third party data.

4Your account

You get one login per organisation. You are responsible for what happens under your login, so keep the password to yourself and do not share it outside your own team. If you think someone else can get in, let us know and we put a new password on it straight away.

5What you supply, and what you warrant

Your material stays yours. You only give us the right we need to do the work: to edit it, to make variants of it, to store it and to publish it on your behalf on your own channel. That right is not exclusive, we do not pass it on to anyone, and it ends when the agreement ends.

You warrant that you have the right to have that material published. Concretely:

  • you own the footage, or you hold a licence for it that allows this use;
  • the people recognisably in shot know about it and agree to it;
  • any music on it may be used commercially, or there is no music on it;
  • there is nothing in it that breaks the law or the rules of Instagram.

We do not check that and we cannot. If it turns out to be wrong and someone holds us to it, you indemnify us.

We may refuse material that in our judgement breaks the rules of Meta or the law. That happens rarely, and you hear why.

6The connection with Instagram

To be able to publish, we get access to your Instagram business account. You give that access yourself at Meta, and you can withdraw it there at any time. Which permissions we ask for and what we do with them is in the privacy policy.

We publish nothing you have not released. With automatic publishing off, nothing happens without your click. Switch it on and we publish according to the schedule and within the number of reels in your package, and you can stop it again with one click.

Instagram can refuse a reel, remove it or restrict an account, and it can change its rules or its interface without asking us. We do not stand behind that. If the service stops working because of it, temporarily or for good, we tell you and you may cancel with immediate effect.

6aYouTube and TikTok

If you also connect YouTube or TikTok, we post reels that went out on Instagram as Shorts to your YouTube channel as well, and prepare them as drafts in your TikTok account. On TikTok you post them yourself in the app. You connect with your own account and can revoke access there at any time. Which data this involves is set out in the privacy policy.

By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy applies. For TikTok, TikTok’s terms apply. As with Instagram, those platforms can refuse a video or restrict an account, and we cannot vouch for that.

At most one version of each clip goes to YouTube, at the pace and with the visibility we agree with you. Clips with someone else’s music (including music from the Instagram library) are not posted to YouTube, because YouTube blocks them. If YouTube still blocks a video, that clip is not sent to YouTube again.

7Package, price and payment

You pick a package when you sign up. It says how many reels go out per month. The amount and the number are in your order confirmation; they are deliberately not in these terms, so that a price change can never arrive silently through an edited web page.

  • Payment is monthly in advance, within fourteen days of the invoice.
  • All amounts are exclusive of VAT.
  • If the package runs out halfway through the month, publishing stops until the next month, or we agree a bigger package.
  • Unused reels do not roll over to the next month.
  • If you pay late we may pause the service, after one reminder and fourteen days.
  • We announce a price change at least thirty days in advance. If you disagree, you cancel per the date the new price takes effect.

8Term and cancellation

The agreement runs per month and renews automatically. You cancel by email, per the end of the running calendar month. No annual contract, no three month notice period, no penalty.

We can cancel on the same terms. Ending with immediate effect is only allowed if you go bankrupt, if you still have not paid after a reminder and fourteen days, or if you use the service for something that breaks the law or the rules of Meta.

Afterwards we remove the connection and delete your data in line with the privacy policy. If you want your material or your numbers back, ask for it before the month ends. Reels already on Instagram stay there; those are yours.

9Availability and maintenance

We do our best to keep the service running, but we give no guarantee on an availability percentage. The app runs on third party infrastructure and publishing hangs on the connections of Meta; if something falls over there, it falls over here too.

If the service is down for more than one continuous week through something on our side, you get that period back on the next invoice.

10Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the event. We are not liable for lost profit, missed revenue, loss of followers, reputational damage or other indirect damage.

These limits do not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our side. They also do not apply as far as the law forbids them.

Force majeure includes in any case: outages or policy changes at Meta, Google, Vercel or Supabase, loss of internet or power, and events beyond our control. If force majeure lasts longer than thirty days, both parties may cancel without compensation.

11Who owns what

Your material stays yours. The videos you supply, and the reels we make from them, are your footage. You may use, keep and publish them elsewhere as you wish, including after this agreement ends.

The service stays ours. All rights to the software, the method, the models and everything we built to make and measure those reels — including but not limited to the programme code, the texts and the design of the app — remain with us. For the duration of the agreement you get the right to use the service for your own accounts. That right is not transferable and gives no claim to the technology behind it.

What you do not do with the service. Do not copy the app or have it copied, do not extract parts of it for use elsewhere, and do not pass access to anyone outside your own organisation.

12Confidentiality

What we see of each other stays between us. We do not discuss your numbers with other clients, and we do not use your material or your results to make something for anyone else. What we learn from your account stays with your account.

We only name you as a client or show work as an example after you have given permission for it, each time.

13Personal data

For your material and your Instagram data we are the processor and you are the controller. The privacy policy, together with these terms, forms the data processing agreement within the meaning of article 28 GDPR: it sets out what we process, why, for how long, who we bring in and how it is secured. If you still want to sign a data processing agreement of your own, that is possible; let us know.

14Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For a change that is materially to your disadvantage you hear it at least thirty days in advance and you may cancel per the date it takes effect. Small corrections we do not announce separately: a typo, a clarification, or the changed company name of a supplier.

The price falls explicitly outside this: it only changes through the announcement in article 7, never through an edit of this page.

15Governing law and jurisdiction

Dutch law applies. If we cannot work it out together, the dispute goes to the competent court in Amsterdam. But call first; that almost always works better.

If a provision turns out to be invalid, the rest simply stands and we replace that provision with something as close to it as possible.
